If you're not able to find your camera in our configuration list , it doesn't mean that your camera is not compatible. Most cameras capable of Auto Exposure Bracketing can be supported by HDReal®.
For optimal results, we recommend the use of 5 image exposure brackets at -4ev, -2ev, 0ev, +2ev and +4ev.
If your camera does not allow for 2ev gaps between exposures, similar results can be achieved with a 7 image exposure bracket at -3ev, -2eb, -1ev, 0ev, +1ev, +2ev, and +3ev.
Cameras that are limited to 3 image exposure brackets will still work with HDReal® - for these cameras, we recommend capturing at -2ev, 0ev, and +2ev.
Here are some helpful hints for camera configuration:
Shooting Mode: Aperture Priority
Image Format: Jpeg
Image Resolution: between 6 megapixel and 20 megapixel
White Balance: Auto
In-Camera Distortion Correction: Off
Aspect Ration: 3:2
Bracketing: 3, 5, or 7 image exposure brackets in either 1 stop or 2 stop increments (see recommendations above)
Using these settings should ensure that the HDReal® system outputs the best possible results for your camera.
Please reference your user manual for instructions on how to configure your specific camera.
